Getting started
- How do I set up my gym?
- After your demo we create your account and help you configure plans, joining fees, currency, timezone and date format. You can then add staff and start adding members the same day.
- Can I import my existing members?
- Yes. We help you bring across your existing members and past payment history during onboarding, so nothing is left behind on paper or spreadsheets.
- How long does setup take?
- Most gyms are fully live within a single day — no IT team required.
Members & registrations
- What member details can I store?
- Name, contact details, address, date of birth, photo, ID proof, emergency contact, plan and status. Members are fully searchable and filterable.
- How do member statuses work?
- Members are marked active, inactive, expired or blocked based on their plan and payments. Expired members can be renewed in a click.
- How do I renew a membership?
- Record a payment against the member and select the plan — their validity and access are updated automatically.
Biometric devices
- Which devices are supported?
- Popular fingerprint devices, including ZKTeco, eSSL, Hikvision, Suprema, Mantra, Realtime and Matrix.
- How do I connect a device?
- Point your device’s server/cloud setting at Gym Daddy. Check-ins start flowing live and the device appears under Biometrics with its health status.
- How does auto-revoke work?
- When a member’s plan expires, a revoke command is queued to the device automatically so their fingerprint stops opening the door. Renewing restores access instantly.
- My check-in times look wrong — why?
- Even if a device’s own clock is off, Gym Daddy records every check-in at the correct time and shows it in your gym’s timezone — automatically.
Billing & plans
- What plans are available?
- Basic, Standard and Pro. Basic is free for a limited time. Standard and Pro pricing is tailored to your gym’s size — talk to us for a quote.
- How do I upgrade or downgrade?
- Change your plan from Subscription settings, or contact us. Upgrades take effect immediately so you unlock higher limits and features right away.
- Do you support GST invoices?
- Yes — Gym Daddy generates GST-compliant invoices with auto-numbered sequences, built for Indian gyms.
- How do refunds and cancellations work?
- See our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for full details. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of your billing period.
Account & security
- What staff roles are available?
- Owner, management and sub-admin roles let you give each team member exactly the access they need.
- Is my gym’s data private?
- Yes. Each gym is fully isolated — staff only ever see their own gym’s data, access is role-based, and your data is encrypted.
- I forgot my password — what do I do?
- Use the “Forgot password” link on the sign-in page to reset it, or contact us if you need help regaining access.
Reports & analytics
- What reports can I run?
- Income by date range, payment method and plan, plus member and attendance reports. Use quick presets like this month or last month, or pick a custom range.
- Can I export data?
- Yes — reports can be downloaded so you can keep records or share them with your accountant.
- Why is my dashboard fast even with many members?
- Gym Daddy is engineered to stay quick even past a thousand members.
